Heated Objects

See below the steps required to solve heat transfer problems for heated objects:


The example below is for heating a box filled with air with a stainless steel shell (oven) with insulation:

First specify the box dimensions, the inner material and shell material.  Specify the shell thickness and go to the insulation screen (if required) and specify the insulation type and thickness.  Then specify the starting, ending temperatures and heat up time.

   
Second, enter in the environmental conditions when running the process.  Specify the ambient and process temperatures.  Select an emissivity value for the heat radiation losses and specify the conduction area and material for  the heat conduction losses.  Then select "Done" and you will see the results and can email a more detailed summary for sharing or achieving the results.
